Asalaamu alaykum WaRahamatullahi WaBarakatuhu,
Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem,
Rabbi inni maghlubun fan-tass-ssir.
(O Allah! I am
overpowered, so help me).
[Surah al-Qamar, 54:10]
This was the du'a of
sayyidna Nuh (Alayhis Salam) after 950 years of preaching to a stubborn people.
La ilaha illa anta, Subhanaka, Inni
kuntu minaz-zalimin
(There is none worthy of Worship besides You, Glory to Thee, I
was indeed wrong!)
[Surah Al-Anbiya 21:87]
This was recited by
Hazrat Yunus (Alayhis Salam) inside the belly of the fish/whale.
Rabbi inni lima anzalta ilayya min khairin faqeer
(O my Lord! truly am I in (desperate) need of any good that
Thou dost send me!)
[Surah Al-Qasas 28:24]
The above du'a was made whilst sayyidina
Musa (alayhis salam) was
traveling to the desert of Madyan, with
no place of shelter. He made this du'a while resting under the shade of a tree, Subsequently, he
was invited to stay with a man and his
two daughters
Rabbi yassir wala
tu’assir wa tammim bil khair
(Oh Allah, make this task easy and do not make it difficult.
Oh Allah! Make it end well).
Allahumma inni a'udhubika minal hammi wal hazan, wal
'ajzi wal kasal, wal bukhli wal jubn, wa dhala'id-dayni wa ghalabatir rijaal
(0 Allah! I seek refuge
in You from
grief and sadness,
from weakness and
from laziness, from miserliness and
from cowardice, from being overcome by
debt and from being overpowered by men (other people)).
HasbiyAIIahu wa ni'mal wakeel
Allah is my Availer
and Protector and the best of aids.
Allahumma
inni unzila bika haajati wa-in qa suura rubbi wa du'fa 'amali iftaqartu illa
Rahmatika
0 Allah! I ask You to
answer my needs, though my intellect is weak, and my actions are defective, 0 Allah! I am in need of Your Mercy
