Asalaamu alaykum brothers and sisters,
Sometimes things get so tough in our lives that we look for comfort in others but ALLAH Ta'ala says in Surah Al-Baqara (2:152): "Remember Me , and I will remember you!”
Meaning that if we pray and glorify Him and are not ungrateful for the countless favours that he bestows on us - He will also remember us and He will help us get out of whatever that is troubling us. We should always look to Him - ask Him for every little thing that we need and should remember that He is The Al-Mujeeb - The Answerer of prayers. He further says in Surah Al-Baqara: 186 "When My servants ask you concerning Me, then (say unto them:) verily I am nigh: I answer the prayer of every supplicant when he calls on Me; so (they should) hearken unto My call, and believe in Me, in order that they may be led aright." This means that instead of looking for comfort in others we should look for it in ALLAH Azza Wa Jal because He will never let us down - He is always near to listen to prayers and we should not loose hope.
